Supporter Applications

WebGamesNet is looking for new people to join its support. The position is voluntary and can lead to many exciting opportunities if you do well. Below is a job description. Please read through it and familiarise yourself with the type of person we are looking for.

Your work and tasks as IRC Supporter would be:

• handling support requests
  
• doing channel registrations
  
• answering questions
  
• suspension of illegal channels
  
• creating events

• knowledge about IRC and srvx user commands
  
• good communication skills
  
• willing to work and interact with the team
  
• having considerable amount of freetime to offer to the work (daily activity expected)
  
• knowledge about all WebGamesNet rules
  
• having a helpful, calm and patient personality
  
• being professional and have a strong user focus
  
• being able to develop yourself and adapt quickly to new situations

Undesirable attributes:

• thinking you are the best
  
• unwillingness to accept own weaknesses and/or criticism of your practices.
  
• seeing arguments as a solution to solve problems

Please do not forget you are sending in a real application. Each application will be taken seriously, as long YOU take it seriously as well.

Include the following things in your application:

• informations about yourself (name, age, hobbies, ...)
  
• motivation why you want to become a supporter and why we should take you
  
• your expierences with srvx (since when do you use it?)
  
• Have you ever been supporter on an IRC network?
  
• Have you ever created a bot or anything else? Did you already have your own project? (if yes, send us some informations)
